Senior Java Developer for Leading iGaming Platform company

About the Company:

Our partner is expanding rapidly and is now looking for a Senior Java Developer to strengthen the team. The company develops a technically advanced platform for the iGaming industry and is one of the leading players on the market. It all started with a poker product and has since evolved to include a casino platform used by companies around the world.

About the Role:

As a Senior Java Developer, you’ll play a key role in backend development and system architecture. You’ll work on scalable, high-performance services and influence how things are built—from technical decisions to ways of working.

While the role is backend-focused, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to frontend work if you’re interested. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, product owners, and fellow developers to deliver clean, maintainable code and real customer value.

Work setup: 3 days per week in-office for team collaboration and problem-solving, 2 days remote for deep, focused work.

The dev team is growing fast and will soon split into two smaller units, giving you more ownership, tighter collaboration, and clearer focus.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring
• Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
• Work across the stack when needed
• Collaborate closely with product and design to shape technical solutions
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and processes

What You Bring

• Several years of experience with Java and Spring
• Solid understanding of SQL
• Interest in frontend technologies is a plus
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• You’re a team player with a strong sense of code quality and ownership

Bonus if you’ve worked with:

• JavaScript / TypeScript and React
• Docker / Kubernetes
• AWS or cloud infrastructure
