Tasks

We are seeking an experienced Golang developer to work within an IAM programme team to develop and implement new solutions as part of a global strategic project aimed at uplifting Secrets Management and Workload Identity capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside solution architects to implement new solutions as part of a global initiative in Secrets Management
  • Liaise with other technical teams and SMEs in the Bank to ensure the solution correctly integrates with other existing and strategic solutions and conforms with control frameworks
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time in line with the project plan and issues are escalated to the team lead

Requirements

 Essentials Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Software Development
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Strong Golang programming skills
  • Experience in developing and consuming APIs and build web-based applications
  • Understanding of cryptography principles
  • Familiar with working in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud Platforms (e.g. AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Must have a good understanding of DevOps tooling such as CI/CD, Jenkins
  • Must have used version control tools like Git
  • Able to work autonomously with limited or no supervision
  • Driven and enthusiastic with a 'can-do’ attitude and a strong sense of ownership
  • Good understanding of performance and security aspects of software development

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with HSMs
  • Experience with M2M OIDC
  • Experience Identity and Access Management
  • Experience of developing REST APIs and clients
  • Experience of writing password management plugins for Secrets Management or PAM tools
  • Experience of Linux and virtualisation technologies
  • Understanding of secrets management and workload identity principles.
  • Node.js programming skills
  • Java programming skills
  • Python programming skills
  • Experience writing technical documentation such as LLD’s, release notes etc
  • Ability to automate development activities
