Associate Vice President - Data Science, AI Lab

Now, We’re looking for a dynamic AVP-Data Science -AI Lab to join our team at Dubai Silicon Oasis, where you'll lead the way in leveraging your expertise in data science and analytics, you will drive the development and deployment of innovative models and insights that align with the bank's strategic objectives, ensuring measurable impact and value creation.

What you will do:

• Lead an Agile squad in shaping the product vision and roadmap, aligning it with business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends, market demands, and customer feedback to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
• Prioritize backlog items based on market feedback, customer insights, and business value, seeking necessary approvals.
• Prepare business cases and documents for senior management approval and budget allocation.
• Work closely with development teams to strategize, execute, and oversee product development sprints, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and engage in client meetings to drive adoption and gather user input for continuous improvement.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of partnership initiatives, providing insights for optimization.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify partnership opportunities.
• Ensure partnership activities comply with regulations and legal requirements, collaborating with the legal team when necessary.
• Increase AI adoption and usage by establishing partnerships and target non-active users.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or product-based disciplines.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Ownership Experience with Scrum / SAFE Delivery Methodologies
• Proven experience in delivering / implementing AI initiatives within industry.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in taking AI products from concept to deployment.
• Familiarity with the banking industry and its regulatory environment is a plus.

Machine Learning and AI Frameworks

• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of Keras for deep learning applications.
• Familiarity with ML libraries like XGBoost and LightGBM.

Data Management and Analysis

• Expertise in handling large datasets (structured and unstructured).
• Experience with data preprocessing techniques (e.g., feature engineering, normalization)
