Job Title: Associate Java Software Developer

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Contract: Fixed Term (3 years)

Salary: £66,000 plus 10% bonus

Outsource UK are recruiting on behalf of a leading investment bank who are looking to hire a talented Associate Software Developer to join their team. In this role, you will design, implement, support, and maintain applications and analytic tools across various teams, including Banking, Treasury, Risk, and Finance. You will collaborate with both business and technical teams to enhance and maintain applications while adhering to Agile principles and ensuring operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements.
• Maintain key applications and ensure service levels are met.
• Collaborate with business teams, product owners, architects, and QA to deliver solutions.
• Participate in DevOps processes, continuous improvement, and automation.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Provide support for incidents related to business applications.

Experience Required:

• Proficiency in NodeJS (Express), Relational Databases (Oracle, MySQL), and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Strong experience with DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Experience in Agile development, cloud-native microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Trading/Risk environments and platforms like Refinitiv and Bloomberg.
• Knowledge of test automation and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
