Handles Operation & Maintenance service projects in region Latin America, according to defined Project Management (PM) standards and customer requirements, and with responsibility for financial results!

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Follows Siemens Energy Project Management guidelines for successful completion of O&M work. Handles project to be conducted in time, quality and cost.
  • Coordinates overall planning and decides on allocation of resources. Works with O&M plant staff on new contracts to ensure project schedule, processes, budgets are met, and reduces non-conformance costs. Handle the Quarterly Project Review process of O&M projects. Assist the various Siemens Energy Regional Entities in the performance of the On-Shore portion of O&M contracts and support continued development of the RE’s O&M capabilities
  • Owns the TMS process for outage planning. Resolves parts required for CT, ST, Generator and BOP outage (Siemens Energy scope of supply). Tracks parts status to make sure spares are to be available on time for the outage. Supports importation process with parts clarification as required. Tracks delivery of all parts (both new and repaired) and assures they are being delivered as required. Accurate projections of purchases and repairs of Program Parts are the responsibility of the Project Manager. Contributes to organizational learning by conducting lessons learned, continuous improvement and sharing information within the Service organization
  • Contributes growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities. May be involved in the negotiation and planning of new projects to ensure the achievement goals at an early stage. Assist Marketing in negotiating new contracts
  • Provides technical guidance to customers and/or Plant staff. Manage the day-to-day communications with the customer, including clear and comprehensive reporting of events, plant status, key performance indicators and plant improvement initiatives. Supports instrument/electrical/mechanical/operations personnel in solving problems by advising them to the relevant engineering group when needed. Coordinates with the O&M Technical Support group and plant staff for quick resolution of technical issues. Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other partners


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of combined cycle Power Plant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with project management duties.
  • Project Management certification (preferred)
  • Fluent speaking and writing in English and Spanish, including technical and contractual forms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


About The Team

The O&M team is highly specialized group responsible for ensuring the efficient, reliable, and safe operation and maintenance of the sites, distributed in several locations of Argentina. This team is crucial for improving plant performance, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Owning the success of the contract’s implementation.

Each site has a team leaded be a Site Manager and a Commercial Project Manager, supported by a group of specialized supervisors and technicians.

There´s also an international team supporting On Shore activities!
