Python Developer

We're working with a growing SaaS company aiming to build impactful solutions that tackle the global pollution crisis. Their application is designed to make a real difference by leveraging technology to provide insights and tools that help businesses and individuals reduce their environmental footprint.

As a Python Developer, you will work closely with their engineering team to enhance their core application. You will develop new features and optimise the platform to ensure scalability and performance, particularly as they expand their reach to a global user base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application features using Python.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable APIs with Flask.
• Integrate with databases, focusing on PostgreSQL, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Work with AWS infrastructure to deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment.
• Continuously optimize and improve the application’s performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the company's development best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Python Developer with expertise in Flask and PostgreSQL.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Passion for sustainability and a keen interest in using technology for social good.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in English
