Lead Developer, Digital Identity (Helsinki)

We are looking for a Lead Developer to join the ECC team (Elisa Capabilities for Common Identity and Experience).

ECC solves the key issue of unifying and centralizing digital identities and customer data in real-time, ensuring high quality and privacy compliance. In practical terms, the team develops Elisa-level microservices focusing on customer data. Our mission is to improve data quality and better customer experiences across services and channels, ultimately driving business growth. The team works in close collaboration with various stakeholder teams across Elisa, as well as its sibling team Elisa ID.

What makes you succeed in this role?

To master the position minimum seven years leading the development of digital services is required. Strong Java background with minimum of seven years also is required. Spring Framework and relational database experience is also expected. Golang experience for at least for one year is required as we use it in our newest services. In event-based integrations knowledge of Kafka is preferred. Solid experience of developing consumer services is a must. Cultural fit and proactive mindset are important.

Skills

You don’t have to know everything, the position allows you to also learn as you go. We expect you to have good communication skills in spoken and written English, and you’ll have an advantage if you also use Finnish. In addition to ECC development, the rest of your role will be customized based on your experience and interests and can be a combination of:

• Identity and access management solutions
• Frontend development with React
• Cloud architectures
  
  

Our team is very agile and independent - we own our services. ECC services are operated and developed within Elisa’s Digital Services unit, where we apply modern software development mentality, version control practices and CI/CD pipelines. Read more about our team culture in my blog post.

The team is based in Helsinki.
