About the Company

Our client is a global trading firm who are known as one the best companies top work for in Ireland. They have an immediate requirement for a DevOps engineer for a permanent position based in Dublin city centre on a hybrid basis.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development and IT operational processes. You will be responsible for automating and optimizing our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues across our environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage our CI/CD pipelines on different platforms and environments.
• Automate processes to gain efficiency and quality.
• Administer and monitor different environments and systems health.
• Manage and configure cloud infrastructure services.
• Help create automations on version control systems and backup operations.
• Help troubleshoot issues during testing and provide production launch support.

Experience/Requirements

• Strong experience in infrastructure support, deployment and monitoring.
• Must have strong technical skills in scripting, Python, PowerShell, C# or other programming languages.
• Experience with working with instrument static data and/or other Market Data systems & protocols
• Experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience in messaging systems, and experience debugging network protocols such as TCP, multicast, would be highly regarded

• Strong communication (verbal and written) – ability to convey technically complex subjects in a clear and concise manner
• Attention to detail – thorough in work carried out
