Junior Product Owner Intern

We are looking for a motivated and talented Junior Product Owner Intern to join our Product team in our Milan HQ.

This position is also open to people belonging to protected categories – pursuant to Law 68/1999.

What you will do

Reporting to the Product Manager – Digital application suite, your internship will comprise of assisting in product management activities of our strategic digital application suite, consisting of Web Application. Specifically:

• Help maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for our products, ensuring well- articulated descriptions, acceptance and test criteria throughout the backlogs.
• Assist in collecting requirements from internal and external business stakeholders, heling to develop them into product backlog items under the supervision of the Product Manager.
• Help to organize the product backlog items for the development teams, with clear acceptance criteria and Agile user stories with clearly articulated and well-designed use cases.
• Under the supervision of the Product Manager, work with our brilliant UX/UI team to create mock-ups, wireframes and user journeys for User Stories.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, and Backlog Refinement sessions and Sprint retrospectives.

• A passion for implementing and building - taking an idea and making it reality is the core of what we do.
• Our headquarter is in Milan, Italy, but we are an international company and almost all our teams are a mix of people from different countries and backgrounds. As such it is essential that you can communicate clearly and concisely in English with an ability to articulate complex arguments in writing.
• Italian is a big plus – other languages in which we operate or have business are very useful such as Portuguese, French, German, Chinese and Japanese are also highly valued.
• A passion for technology and software. An understanding and interest in software development, cloud technology, REST API’s, AI/ML/LLM’s is a huge plus.
• A love for good design, UX & UI.

Internship duration and compensation:

• The internship duration is 1 year, structured as a 6-month initial period followed by a 6-month extension based on performance.
• Reimbursement: 1000€/gross/month + meal vouchers (8.00€/working day). After the first 6 months, the reimbursement increases to 1250€/gross/month.
