POSITION OVERVİEW

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the development of cutting-edge Medical Machine Learning models. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative healthcare projects, including multi-variate time-series data, computer vision (CV), and natural language processing (NLP) applications. You will work closely with medical professionals, manage medical studies, and help shape the future of healthcare through AI. RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Develop advanced Medical Machine Learning models, with a focus on multi-variate time-series data, and expand into Computer Vision (CV) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) projects.

·      Collaborate with medical staff, including doctors and medical experts, to manage studies, gather feedback, and ensure models are addressing real-world healthcare needs.

·      Maintain communication with hospitals and medical researchers to drive the success of medical studies and projects.

·      Create and maintain technical documentation to define clinical problems, assess project scopes, and establish timelines.

·      Ensure smooth operation and serving of ML models in production environments, monitoring performance and scaling solutions as needed.

·      Document and maintain the reusability of experiments, ensuring that models and workflows are reproducible, trackable, and adaptable for feedback and data gathering cycles.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and support development goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

·      Master’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

·      Strong programming skills in Python.

·      Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

·      Hands-on experience with experiment tracking technologies (e.g., WandB preferred).

·      Experience in API development, ideally with FastAPI.

·      Strong knowledge of ML workflow orchestration and best practices.

·      3+ years of programming experience and 3+ years of hands-on machine learning experience.

·      Proficiency with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with cloud-native applications and containerization.

·      Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical topics with both medical and non-technical stakeholders.

·      Excellent communication skills in English.

·      Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
