Head of Credit Control

Key Deliverables:

 Oversee the process of reviewing submitted applications and coordinate with the Operations or Credit Documentation to rectify the errors basis the error report

 Share a weekly error report of critical and non-critical

 Highlight any critical errors pertaining to financial impact, loan or overdraft limit concerns etc. to the Head of the department and Operations incident report to the Risk Department on the same day

 Work with CEO office and business on re-classification of accounts based on specific business justification, exceptions and business potential

 Act as the 1st line of defence to highlight any issues and noncompliance of policies and procedures through business delivery

 Develop and submit the CBO monthly/quarterly reports

 Co-ordinate with IT and operations for smooth functioning of the systems

 Review existing process and recommend changes, improvements based on system or process perspective as part of the Agile project group

 Work on a corporate dashboard for management providing insight for CIB portfolio which includes the structure list, classification, offer due and rewards updates

 Lead department contribution to Omanization targets through the setting of goals/KPIs in relation to the hiring and development of Omani Nationals in the workforce

 Complete all other tasks or projects as delegated by management or reporting Manager

 Ensure all activities are carried out according to bank’s policies, procedures, and standards.

 Participate in other related initiatives and projects as assigned or other duties as assigned by management.

Experience:

 7-8 years of experience in similar roles
