Unity Multiplayer VR Developer - Full Remote

PTW is on the lookout for a talented Unity Multiplayer VR Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging multiplayer experiences in virtual reality using the Unity engine. As a developer, you will collaborate with designers and artists to bring virtual worlds to life, focusing on performance optimization and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement multiplayer features for VR applications using Unity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing VR applications to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Integrate and utilize online services and APIs for multiplayer dynamics.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and gaming trends to innovate and enhance VR experiences.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Unity and C# with strong knowledge of multiplayer game architecture.
• Experience in developing VR applications, particularly with hardware such as Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, or similar.
• Understanding of networking principles and multiplayer game development practices.
• Experience with online services integration, such as Photon, Unity Multiplayer, or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• A passion for gaming and creating immersive virtual environments.
• Experience in 3D modeling and animation is a plus, but not required.
