Technical Support Analyst - Remote/Hybrid - Montreal

SourceKnowledge, part of the mrge Group, is seeking a Technical Support Analyst. You will provide timely and comprehensive support, guidance and solutions to the internal ad operations team. This role requires a deep understanding of the infrastructure and capacity to provide and explain solutions to non-technical users.

Your Tasks

  • Your main responsibility is to provide technical support to the ad operations and the support teams
  • You will support our internal ad operations team with specific technical skills listed below (including writing scripts, working with databases, REST APIs etc.)
  • You will identify on-going improvements to existing business systems
  • You will develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting procedures.

Your Profile

  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres)
  • Hands on experience with Linux/UNIX Scripting or equivalent
  • Proficiency in PHP, ideally in combination with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
  • Demonstrate ability working with REST APIs and JSON
  • Nice to have skills: in React/Typescript
  • Ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner
  • Analyze ticket requests to detect common trends and underlying problems
  • Capacity to test and troubleshoot issues
  • College diploma or University degree in the field of Information Technology OR a minimum of 1-2 years of equivalent work experience in a role similar to Technical Support
