The HR Assistant will be responsible for answering HR queries and assisting with HR projects, recruitment, payroll, compliance and day-to-day office management activities as. This position is ideal for a proactive individual looking to develop a long-term career in HR.
Our HR Assistant will:
- Answer HR queries from managers and employees
- Carry out general HR admin tasks as directed
- Maintain records, databases, and digital filing systems
- Assist in organising meetings, preparing reports, and coordinating internal communications
- Support recruitment processes, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support in performance management processes, policy development and other HR initiatives
- Coordinate monthly payroll and maintain good relations with EDAG's external payroll provider
Requirements
- 2 years' experience in HR administration
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in HR software (preferred)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Valid Category B Driving Licence
- Currently studying for, or holding, a Level 3 CIPD qualification (preferred).
