Senior Information Technology Project Manager

Job Description

Morning Review: Start the day by checking emails and reviewing the task tracker to prioritize tasks and address any urgent issues Team Meetings: Conduct quick check-ins with team leads to discuss current priorities and any problems. This is followed by a daily sync-up meeting (often a Scrum meeting) Addressing Issues: Spend time addressing the most pressing matters highlighted during the sync-up meeting. This often involves smaller group discussions to resolve specific problems Deep Work: Allocate time for focused work without interruptions. This could include writing detailed emails, creating reports, or updating project documentation Client and Stakeholder Meetings: Prepare for and conduct meetings with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and discuss any issues that need their input Evening Wrap-Up: End the day by sending out meeting notes, responding to important emails, and planning tasks for the next day

Required Skills & Experience

-7+ years of experience in project management within the SDLC

- Worked in a fast-paced IT environment.

-Insurance of financial industry experience

- Able to lead waterfall projects from conception, Business case development to implementation, and transition to operations.

- Cloud Experience with Azure

- Experience with an enterprise content management (ECM) system (OnBase)

-Robotic process automation platform exposure (Kofax or Blue Prism) -

ERP system experience (PeopleSoft)

-Financial or insurance industry experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Managing projects in PeopleSoft (HCM, FMS, CRM)

-OnBase as the ECM -ePAM Electronic Policy Administration

-worked across agile and waterfall on the same project

-articulate and manage risk
