We are looking for a Data Scientist for a hybrid project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Improving NER/NLP Algorithms:

-Analyze and optimize existing Named Entity Recognition (NER) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms to enhance their accuracy and efficiency for client projects.

- Conduct performance testing and validation of models using real and synthetic datasets.

• Establishing a Document Annotation Platform:

-Design and implement an annotation platform to facilitate the tagging and labeling of textual data for various client use cases.

-Collaborate with business experts to define annotation criteria and ensure data quality.

• Fine-Tuning Algorithms:

-Customize and optimize machine learning models for specific client needs and use cases within the organization.

-Apply advanced techniques such as transfer learning to improve model performance, especially when working with limited datasets.

• Creating an AI Library/Framework:

-Develop and document a library or framework that facilitates the integration and deployment of AI models in production environments for clients.

-Ensure that models meet production standards and performance requirements tailored to client specifications.

• Participating in Business Workshops:

-Engage in workshops with clients and business teams to understand their Data Science needs and identify entities for labeling.

-Collaborate on developing actionable use cases that leverage the algorithms developed and implement them effectively in client projects.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience, holding a BAC+5 level degree (university, business school, or engineering school) with a specialization in Data Science

• You are proficient in Python and API integration, with solid knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop) and AI, including Named Entity Recognition (NER), Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, and clustering

• Fluent English (mandatory)

• The candidate must be living in Portugal (mandatory)
