Senior Client Engineer (C++)

Location: Stockholm candidates only

Develop user interface code for video games in a software engineering capacity, with a console & online focus

In this role you will be:

  • Communicate with other developers, company leadership, and external partners
  • Work closely with UI designers and artists to aid in the construction of UI screens, tools and systems
  • Work closely with Backend engineers, that provide Online services and APIs for client.
  • Diagnose and fix UI bugs, and profile and optimize UI code as necessary
  • Perform in an active role in supporting the game by helping optimize production and pipelines

To succeed in this role, we believe you have experience in:

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years professional User Interface programming experience or equivalent
  • Strong C++ developer
  • Proficient in Unreal game engine, version 5
  • Experience with console development, several consoles
  • Experience with working with localization/internationalization and related challenges
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Angelscript developer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with UI art and UX design pipelines and tools.
  • Experience with game rendering pipelines and UI rendering techniques
  • Console certification requirements as it applies to UI and online functionality a plus
  • Knowledge of Noesis GUI and tools strongly preferred
