Full Stack Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Global Trading team to develop scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Integrate both front-end and back-end solutions within the company’s commodity trading application.
• Maintain and enhance web applications used by various industries, including oil, gas, energy, and mining.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that optimize trading operations.
• Help ensure the reliability and efficiency of the software by maintaining high-quality code and automating processes where possible.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Front-end Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Back-end Skills: Strong proficiency with Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
• Web Development: Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Database Management: Expertise in database management systems like SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Code Quality: Ability to help maintain clean, organized, and automated codebase.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Knowledge of the oil and gas sector, especially in energy trading operations.
• Market Data & Trading Systems: Familiarity with financial instruments related to oil and gas trading is an asset.
• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 3+ years in Full stack software development.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in technologies or methodologies.
• Database & Data Pipeline Expertise: Experience in building and maintaining performant databases and data pipelines, especially using SQL.
• Programming Proficiency: Strong knowledge in Python or other languages.
• Full-Stack Development: Experience with both front-end frameworks (React preferred) and back-end development.
• Additional Tools: Databricks and Snowflake.

Web Performance & Security: Solid understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices
