Our client is a US security and networking company that helps people connect securely with confidence on any device, to any application, anywhere, anytime. Together with the client, we work in the cloud & network security and focus on delivering fast user space virtualized networking solutions to security business groups.

IF YOU ARE

Experienced in C development with at least 4 years of track record
Hands-on in delivering high-performance networking
Confident in networking standards and protocols
Skilled in Linux-based operating systems, Linux kernel, virtual machines, and cloud-based services
Knowledgeable in user space software development
Well-versed in L2–L7 packet processing and data plane protocols
Familiar with Vector Packet Processor (VPP), or open to learning and working with it
Skilled in Rust, Python, Go (would be a plus)
Confident with containerization and virtual machines (as an advantage)
Experienced in CPU hardware architectures: Arm64, x86_64, Power (nice to have knowledge)
Aware of Kubernetes, AWS, and virtualization technologies (optional)
Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client side

AND YOU WANT TO

Assist in the design and development of cloud-native networking solutions
Dive into Vector Packet Processor and contribute to its development
Develop industry-leading performance modular software data plane (L2–L7) utilizing FD.io/VPP packet process engine
Interact with the engineering team to develop new features and help with the integration in various virtualized, containerized, and bare metal environments
Elevate the quality of coding, unit testing, and maintaining features
Design and implement private cloud, public cloud, and multicloud-related solutions
