You will drive strategic solutions, operational excellence, and customer success, while nurturing high-value partnerships across a broad range of industries.
As the Head of Business Strategy, you will work closely with senior leaders across Yahoo whilst leading a high-performing team that’s dedicated to delivering tailored solutions, meeting the complex and evolving needs of our clients, and driving long-term growth through Yahoo’s DSP.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Success & Relationship Management:
- Own the overall customer experience for Yahoo DSP clients, building lasting relationships with senior stakeholders (e.g., Heads of Departments, C-suite executives) to drive long-term success.
- Foster an environment where clients feel supported, valued, and empowered to adopt and leverage Yahoo’s DSP technology and capabilities for their business growth.
- Quickly address and resolve client issues, ensuring smooth communication and efficient problem resolution at every stage of the client journey.
Innovation & Strategy Leadership:
- Spearhead the development of cutting-edge solutions to address industry challenges, ensuring that Yahoo’s DSP evolves in alignment with client needs and market trends.
- Lead innovation by creating solutions tailored to agency and enterprise investment deals, maximizing value and ensuring the best outcomes for both Yahoo and its partners.
- Partner closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to design, test, and roll out new offerings that enhance the overall customer experience.
Revenue Growth & Business Development:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, using a strategic and results-oriented approach to up-sell and cross-sell additional services.
- Proactively pitch solutions for underperforming campaigns and propose new strategies based on client KPIs, Yahoo’s core competencies, and emerging market opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to create integrated strategies that meet client needs, while delivering on broader business objectives.
- Own quarterly forecasts, ensuring that all accounts under your leadership are aligned with revenue targets and business projections.
Market Education & Thought Leadership:
- Represent Yahoo DSP as a thought leader in the programmatic advertising space, participating in industry events, panels, and discussions to elevate the Yahoo brand.
- Lead education initiatives, ensuring that clients and the broader market are well-informed about the latest Yahoo product offerings, new technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
- Provide strategic insights, guiding clients on how to optimize their marketing strategies using Yahoo’s suite of products, helping them stay ahead of industry trends.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Develop team members through coaching, feedback, and opportunities for career growth, building a strong talent pipeline within the organization.
- Work closely with commercial leadership to align team efforts with Yahoo’s overall business strategy and goals, ensuring the team’s work directly contributes to the success of the organization.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales, technical, and marketing teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
