About the Role

The Mobile Application Developer will design and build high-quality, secure mobile applications. This role involves using expert industry skills to deliver mobile software applications successfully. The developer will work closely with the project team and UI/UX designer to meet strategic goals and key priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement secure mobile applications for Android in React Native.
• Use common re-usable plug-ins, frameworks, and solutions with a mobile-first mindset.
• Collaborate with the project team and UI/UX designer.
• Implement front-end business applications and integrate with back-end servers.
• Support and maintain existing production code while developing new enhancements.
• Develop enterprise mobile applications with image recognition and geo-spatial capabilities.
• Work in an Agile cross-functional team.
• Develop documentation for project deliverables.

Required Experience

Technical Skills

• Minimum 4 years of mobile applications development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of mobile app development experience using React Native.
• Knowledge in secure mobile app development, consuming RESTful APIs, and working with JBoss and Apache Tomcat.
• Proficiency in JSX, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, Kotlin, and Swift.

What's on Offer?

This contract is available for an initial term until 30 June 2026. The preferred work location is onsite in Sydney Olympic Park or Parramatta, NSW.
