System Verification Engineer

At Tata Technologies we make product development dreams a reality by designing, engineering and validating the products of tomorrow for the world’s leading manufacturers. Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a System Verification Engineer, to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

Do you want to be a part of a cross-functional team that solves systematic quality issues within the electrical area? Once the team has been assigned with a problem the work starts to really dig into what has been reported and to understand that specific system/component, finding the root cause and later doing the necessary changes (system/component/installation redesign etc.) to be able to finally implement a solution for the customers. This could involve totally new development or adjustments of the current solution.

For the team to be effective various competences is needed - analyzing data, in system and component design and in testing for both hardware and software. And to be able to break down problems to what really matters. The team also need to consider the holistic progress even though it is dealing with the details.

Knowledge/Experience

• Several years of experience in the automotive industry

• Preferable has some background with either system design or functional verification.

• Has great understanding of how product lifecycle works in the automotive industry. From the development and initial concepts to production and maintenance.

• That is real problem-solver and really believes that quality matters.

• With a positive attitude that can lead smaller investigations on their own but enjoys working in a team.

We are open for persons with different type of technical background ex. development or testing relating the electrical system. Some examples could be hardware/software/function-testing relating to either components or systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, diagnostics etc.). Other examples could be relating to telematics, installation and/or wiring.

We believe the right candidate will figure out the tools needed but some tools we use frequently use: Saber, Catia V5, CANalyzer/Canoe, IPEtronik and other types of relevant measuring/simulation/logging equipment.

Also meritorious: Driver license D, familiar with IT systems
