Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Location: Warsaw, Poland (Remote)

Job Type: Contract (B2B / Freelance)

Contract Duration: 6-12+ months (Possible extension)

Job Description:

• Currently should live in Poland with valid Citizenship/Work permit to work in Poland (We are not providing sponsorship)
• Should have at least 4-6+ years of relevant experience
• Current or last employment should be in Poland

Roles and Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure Management:

• Assist in the management, configuration, and maintenance of AWS services including:
• EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, KMS, VPC, SageMaker, and CloudWatch.
• Support network configurations within AWS VPC, including security groups, subnets, and transit gateways.
• Monitor and respond to AWS CloudWatch alerts to maintain system health and performance.

Infrastructure Automation:

• Collaborate in the development and maintenance of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of reusable Terraform modules for AWS resources.

Containerisation and Orchestration:

• Participate in the management of containerised workloads using Kubernetes (EKS).
• Assist with implementing and troubleshooting service mesh solutions with Istio.
• Maintain container registries (ECR) and ensure optimised image management.

CI/CD and Deployment Automation:

• Support the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline configuration using tools like ArgoCD and Jenkins.
• Assist in automating deployments to ensure efficient and error-free delivery of new features and updates.

Monitoring and Observability:

• Support the development and configuration of monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other observability tools such as Datadog.
• Implement and maintain logging and alerting frameworks to ensure system uptime and performance.

Security and Compliance:

• Assist in managing encryption and security keys through AWS KMS.
• Support compliance with security best practices, ensuring AWS environments are secure, up-to-date, and compliant with internal policies and standards.
• Assist with vulnerability management, remediation, and associated processes
