Job Title: AI Engineer

Job Type: 6 month initial contract

Introduction:

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our Client based in Cracow. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Probability, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Calculus, and a deep understanding of Machine Learning and Generative AI. You will be working on cutting-edge projects utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Deep Learning, and cloud technologies, with the opportunity to have a significant impact on the development of AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize advanced Machine Learning and Deep Learning models with a focus on Generative AI.
• Work hands-on with Large Language Models (LLMs) and APIs such as Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and other leading AI platforms.
• Leverage cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and Databricks for deploying scalable AI solutions.
• Utilize LangChain, LangGraph, and Vector Databases to build advanced data retrieval systems and AI workflows.
• Design and experiment with state-of-the-art AI algorithms to solve complex problems in various domains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models and solutions into real-world applications.
• Continuously research and stay updated on the latest advancements in Generative AI and LLMs.
• Communicate complex AI and machine learning models and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong foundation in Probability, Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Calculus.
• Expertise in Deep Learning techniques, frameworks, and applications.
• In-depth understanding of Generative AI (GenAI), including the mathematical principles behind the models and their practical implementations.
• Hands-on experience working with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs like Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.
• Proficiency in cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and platforms like Databricks.
• Expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, and Vector Databases for advanced data retrieval and AI workflows.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages with experience in AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
• Knowledge of financial products (mutual funds, ETFs, client segmentation) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex models and insights to non-technical audiences.
