C++ Software Engineer

Goliath Partners has partnered with a scaling HFT & MFT Equities/Futures firm that's built out their first US based office in Chicago, and have made their office remote-accessible in order to expand the networking abilities between their locations.

The firm was founded by a very successful PM that sold his previous venture to Citadel. He and this firm are looking to quickly make a name for themselves in the US and are already making moves to have the ability to compete with the top names in the space. The set up is similar to other collaborative shops but they pride themselves in being known to be far more collaborative than most.

They have a built out centralized execution team and are looking to add talented C++ Software Engineers to their team.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Computer Science/ Statistics/ Mathematics etc.

Experience with C/C++

Familiarity with distributed systems and infrastructure development

Previous examples of competitive edge (high placed hackathon, awards, academic excellence, etc.)

Beneficial Skills:

Masters/PhD in STEM related subjects

Knowledge of Python

Work experience with a disruptor, startup, or trading enterprise

Compensation:

Competitive compensation package for the ideal candidate will be a package of between $225-275k in base and additional bonuses that can get up to between $650-750k. Additional incentives include deferred bonuses, sign-on bonuses, and discretionary bonuses.
