Middle C++ Software Engineer

Our client is a US-based global company that works on security services, blocking advanced attacks, including malware, botnets, and phishing threats. Together with the client, we work on a data platform that powers cybersecurity, observability, network operations, and a whole bunch of important tasks that large organizations require. This solution allows searching, analyzing, and visualizing all of the data. It collects, stores, and analyzes logs, metrics, configurations, reports from any data sources.

Team goal is to support and enhance the code base monolith with a focus on maintaining legacy systems, driving product modernization, and performance optimization.

IF YOU ARE

• A software engineer with at least 3 years of experience in C++ development
• Confident in building low-latency applications with C++
• Good at modernizing, or refactoring legacy systems, with an emphasis on maintaining backward compatibility
• Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting
• Knowledgeable of Linux OS from user's an admin's perspective
• Aware of CI/CD systems
• Familiar with Splunk (would be a plus)
• Capable of maintaining business communication with clients in English
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Perform debugging
• Participate in on-call duties to diagnose and solve customer issues (rare cases and during working hours)
• Work in the security domain and collaborate on the data platform
• Take full ownership of the product from an engineering perspective
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage a comprehensive roadmap and meet product requirements
