The CTO serves as a strategic leader, managing tech vision, team development, and infrastructure. He/she guides teams, assures quality, and leads a Center of Excellence. Handling collaboration, security, and compliance, the role holder stays updated on emerging technologies, fostering innovation aligned with business goals, while also developing business logic based on JEE using applications servers (Payara, Quarkus).

What Should You Bring Along

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CTO or in a similar senior role
• Proven experience coordinating large teams of engineers in delivering complex and scalable software solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience setting objectives aligned with company/ product area goals and metrics tools to monitor the work of engineers.
• Prior startup experience or experience in fast-growing and dynamic environments.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Focus on productivity and delivering high-quality solutions quickly.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English, German would be nice to have.
