About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical IT projects, especially those requiring high availability systems. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance applications, integrating middleware solutions, and ensuring smooth and efficient software solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical applications for high availability systems.
• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using Java (8+) and related technologies.
• Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL queries for Oracle databases.
• Integrate web technologies including RESTful Web Services, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
• Work on middleware solutions (WebMethods, WebLogic) to integrate various systems and components.
• Collaborate with senior developers and other teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Contribute to software design and architecture discussions.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support for deployed applications.

Key Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in IT software development with a focus on high availability systems.
• Strong experience with Oracle Java technologies (Java 8 or above, JEE, JSP, JDBC).
• Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL query development.
• Familiarity with web technologies (RESTful Web Services, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML).
• Experience with middleware integration (WebMethods, WebLogic) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven experience working with mission-critical IT projects and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior Java and PL/SQL developers.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with WebLogic (middleware) and/or WebMethods.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and related tools.
