React Developer

Job Title: Senior React Engineer (6-Month Contract)

Location: Dublin - Occasional office visits required

Job Description:

Oliver James are seeking an experienced Senior React Engineer for a 6-month contract to join an experienced payments company with a focus in the hospitality space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining scalable React applications, along with a deep understanding of front-end best practices and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex React applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.

• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) with React, JavaScript, and modern front-end technologies.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and agile development practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
