We are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed software company at the forefront of digital transformation. As the business scales globally, it is investing in its finance leadership team to ensure continued success.

The company is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to take ownership of the financial planning and analysis function, driving strategic insight and commercial decision-making. This is a pivotal role for a qualified finance leader who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders to optimise performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the FP&A function, developing and refining financial planning processes to support business strategy.
• Owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate objectives.
• Driving stakeholder engagement, acting as a strategic finance partner to C-suite executives, department heads, and investors.
• Enhancing financial reporting, ensuring clear, data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Optimising financial processes, improving efficiencies in forecasting, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Supporting M&A activities, including investment analysis, financial due diligence, and integration planning.
• Providing commercial insight, identifying opportunities to drive growth, improve margins, and optimise resource allocation.
• Implementing best-in-class FP&A tools and systems, ensuring scalability and automation as the company expands.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA)
• Background in a software or technology business is highly desirable.
• Experience in a PE backed environment would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead FP&A teams and partner with senior leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insight.
• Highly analytical, with expertise in financial modelling, scenario planning, and data-driven decision-making.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing multiple priorities.
