Internship - Data Scientist (Industrial)

The student, under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will assist data scientists working on AI@BE use cases.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Explore approaches and develop prototype solution for AI applications
• Develop scalable & sustainable data workflow in KNIME
• Assist data scientist to build validation app to collect user feedback
• Analyze data through application of scientific methods and data-discovery tools, such as Tableau, R and Python
• Integrate and prepare large and varied datasets, and models complex business problems
• Discover business insights and identifies opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques
  
  

Internship learning outcomes:

• Basic knowledge on KNIME tool
• Gather data from production systems and discover insights from data
• Develop automated and logical data models and data output methods
• Design data reports and visualization tools to facilitate data understanding
• Perform data validation and quality control checks
• Mine data to identify trends, patterns and correlations
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• On track to attain Bachelor/Masters in Electrical & Electronic / Material Science / Mechanical / Computer Engineering with a research-oriented mindset
