We are seeking an experienced SYSTEM ENGINEER to assist in resolving data storage challenges at a specialized lab, ensuring compliance with WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) requirements.

Requirements

  • Analyze current systems: VMware, VSAN, Dell Data Domain, and Avamar backup solution.
  • Assess and recommend improvements for data backup and recovery processes.
  • Develop a robust backup strategy tailored to the LAB’s standards and WADA compliance.
  • Identify critical data and define backup frequency, retention policies, and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
  • Suggest a hybrid approach including on-site, off-site, or cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Deliver a comprehensive assessment report with strategic recommendations.
  • 5+ years of experience in Anti-Doping Labs (Preferable).
  • Project Duration: 3 to 6 months
  • Expertise in backup strategies and IT systems.
  • Strong knowledge of WADA regulations.
  • Location: Qatar
