Full-Stack Web Engineer

About the Position:

We are seeking an Engineer II - Full Stack Web Engineer to join our SEO/Site

Performance team. In this role, you will work in a scrum environment to develop and

optimize web applications, focusing on improving site performance and SEO

strategies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience, drive

efficiency, and ensure top-tier performance across the web platform.

What You’ll Do

As part of the SEO/Site Performance team, you will focus on improving the domain

authority through strategic SEO initiatives and implementing technical/foundational

SEO best practices.

You will also work on enhancing core web vitals and the overall site performance by

optimizing site speed, responsiveness, and user experience. Your efforts will

contribute to building a strong foundation for search engine rankings and

improved user interactions.

Partner with your technical lead and the product team to design elegant
solutions to complex problems
Audit our systems to find and prioritize areas that can be improved
Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of high availability
software solutions on a scale
Actively participate in daily standups, code reviews, demos, and other
collaborations
Document processes and procedures to ensure continuity

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript
3+ years of experience with PHP preferred
Demonstrable experience implementing various design patterns and
why/when to use them
Experience with writing Unit Tests (PHPUnit, etc.)
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical
audiences
Knowledge of modern web application development practices
Experience debugging/profiling web applications
Experience with Google Lighthouse

Bonus Points:

Experience working with Nuxt3/Vue3
Experience working with Redis
Experience working with ElasticSearch
Experience working with MySQL (MariaDB)
Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other
DevOps tools
Experience with DebugBear, Semrush, and/or Screaming Frog
