Mid-Level Frontend Developer (Electron, Linux)

Recruitment agency "Nextra Latvia" on behalf of its' client is looking for an experienced Mid-Level Frontend Developer. The company we represent works on building various self-service solutions, such us interactive terminals, payment systems etc.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform self-service applications using Electron, with a primary focus on Linux environments.
• Work with modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, Node.js) to build scalable, high-performing applications.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.
• Solve complex technical challenges with elegant, maintainable code.
• Contribute to UI/UX improvements, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly self-service experiences.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6).
• Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Comfort working in Linux-based environments.

• A keen eye for detail, ensuring polished, error-free software.
• Fluency in Latvian.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Bonus Points!)

• Experience with Electron for building self-service applications.

• Experience with Jest or other testing tools to maintain app quality.
