How You Will Make An Impact

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be part of the Design team and contribute to creating visually stunning and impactful designs that will be seen by audiences worldwide. As an intern, you will engage in projects that require interpreting creative briefs into compelling visual concepts, showcased across various media platforms. You will leverage your creative expertise in graphic design to capture essential design elements and transform them into innovative and captivating visuals that enhance brand identity and communication.

In Your Role You Will

• Create and Design Banknotes: Design content for new banknotes and redesign. Support Banknote designer or Engraver with Graphic design content, typography and illustrations. Support with administrative task related to design proposals, presentations and deliverables related.
• Incorporate Security Features: Create content for security features and support Banknote designer.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with Crane and Global design team in to ensure designs meet all requirements.
• Conduct Research: Investigate cultural and historical elements to incorporate into banknote designs, ensuring they are meaningful and relevant.
• Develop Prototypes: Support the process of creation of prototypes to ensure the durability and functionality of the banknotes.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends in design and security to continuously improve banknote designs.
• Document Design Processes: Maintain accurate records of all design activities and provide detailed specifications for printers and engravers. Support with our planning document and other related administrative task in design.
  
  

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required

• Must be a student throughout the duration of the internship
• Available to work 20 hours per week
• 1 - 2-year university level education in arts & crafts and graphic design or commensurate experience.
• 1 - 2 years’ experience within the field of graphic design.
• Knowledge of graphic design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop and indesign.
• Fluent in English.

• Experience working with team and with continues improvements
  
  

Ability to showcase artwork and graphic design, including drawings (portfolio submission preferred)
