I have partnered with a global client within the automotive space. The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format. You will enhance digital platforms, which serve millions of customers worldwide. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving the architecture of current applications!

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and secure web applications
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps teams, and product managers to deliver robust features
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise the performance of existing applications
• Work with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) to ensure efficient data handling
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into the platform

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on PHP Symfony
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles
• Experience with RESTful API development and working with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Proficiency in version control tools like Git
• Experience with e-commerce or large-scale platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
