About the role

Sygnum's Clients team helps corporate, institutional, and individual clients navigate the breadth of our offerings across Custody, Brokerage, Credit & Lending, Token Products, Asset Management and B2B. Potential clients include private clients, asset managers, financial institutions, foundations, public and private pension funds, hedge funds, etc.

We are seeking a dynamic Intern to join our fast-growing Private Banking team at our Zurich office. This is an exciting opportunity to support Sygnum in its mission to become the global partner bank of choice for digital assets.

During your 6-month internship, starting in May/June 2025, you will play an active role in supporting our team with day-to-day operations and assisting in the preparation of client visits and management of client dossiers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with end clients through telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions, participating in the entire client life cycle from onboarding to maintaining existing relationships.
• Providing daily client support, initiating and monitoring client transactions, and executing trading orders.
• Working on projects and collaborating with various internal departments, gaining exposure to different aspects of our operations.

Our ideal candidate

• A people person with a strong interest in relationship management and business development.
• Distinct customer focus, enjoyment of direct customer contact and a strong inner drive to deliver world-class customer service.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written form, both in (Swiss) German and in English.
• Completed bachelor studies or equivalent.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm to get to know the world of Digital Assets and gain expertise in our product and service offerings.
• Previous working experience within banking and/or digital asset space is a plus.
