Test Engineer

We are now looking for a new Test Engineer in our R&D Department in Raufoss, Norway.

As Test Engineer you'll be responsible for product development tests according to defined specifications and validation plans, as well as writing test reports and distributing them within the Business unit. You will be working in the R&D Test department in a friendly, highly motivated and competent team of 5 engineers.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• To be part of the Laboratory team responsible for Product testing and validation
• Define product test specification and create validation plans
• Test execution and result reports
• Responsible for prototypes assembly, identification and tracking for internal or external testing
• Support Manufacturing and Quality departments with deviation and claims analysis
• Support R&D and test teams worldwide as well as customers
• Assure correct usage of the lab equipment for long life usage and to keep the laboratory clean, organized and functional
  
  

Ideal profile

• MSc/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Interpersonal skills to works as part of a team
• Uncompromising personal integrity
• Focus and efficiency
• Excellent analytical skills and strong intellectual curiosity
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Experience from automotive industry, commercial vehicle or in pneumatic braking and suspension system is an advantage
• Knowledge on Brass or injection molded products is an advantage
• Experience in product testing is an advantage
• Language: Excellent written and oral communication skills in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English
