Audi F1 Project

Our Team

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has two locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

What you need? The mindset of an athlete. If you are someone for whom giving up isn’t an option and limits are just something to be overcome, you can bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1 with us. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

In program management, we act as the central unit of Audi Formula Racing GmbH. We serve as the interface between the technical departments, the supply chain, and the financial control of the company, thus being responsible for the complex project management for the development and production of the Audi F1 Powertrains. We operate in a highly exciting, always time-critical, and rapidly changing environment. Through intensive collaboration, we ensure transparency to achieve project goals and early identification of project risks. In addition to high self-expectations, communication readiness, and team performance, we also prioritize enjoyment at work! Due to the interdependence of many different topics in our area of responsibility, close cooperation and a high degree of openness are prerequisites for our successful work.

  • Risk management: Identification of risks and proactive development of measures and proposed solutions to avoid jeopardising project results.
  • Reporting: Regular reports to AFR management on the progress and status of projects.
  • Continuous process optimisation: Analysis and improvement of existing processes with a focus on programme management and supply chain processes in order to continuously increase efficiency and performance.
  • Progress monitoring and evaluation: Regular review of project progress to ensure strategic objectives are met and timely adjustments can be made where necessary.

Your Profile

  • Professional experience: Several years of experience in project management, preferably in the motorsport industry or in a similarly demanding environment with high dynamics and technical complexity.
