Penetration Tester (relocation to Belgium)

We are looking for a Penetration Tester who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Mons, Belgium.

Eligibility:

• Candidate must currently reside in the EU.
• Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory.
• Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU Clearance after accepting the job offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and/or participate in Red/Blue Team activities during NATO military exercises.
• Conduct web application, infrastructure, and application-level penetration testing.
• Perform security design reviews to ensure compliance with NATO policies and directives.
• Offer security consultancy and advice for plans, projects, and other organizational entities.
• Build and maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, including the NCIA Configuration Control Board, Security Accreditation Boards, NATO Security Accreditation Authorities, and NCI Agency organizational units.
• Present security reports and testing outcomes to both executive and technical audiences, including flag officers.
• Collaborate proactively with the Head of the Penetration Testing Cell and other internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and a minimum of 3 years of experience in:
• Web application penetration testing
• IT infrastructure penetration testing
• Network security architecture design
• Assessing security vulnerabilities in operating systems, software, protocols, and networks
• Researching and evaluating security products and technologies
• System and network administration on UNIX and Windows systems
• Use of penetration testing tools, techniques, and recognized testing methodologies
• Strong scripting skills in at least one of the following: Perl, Python, Ruby, or shell scripting (e.g., bash, ksh, csh).
• Technical expertise in system and network security, authentication protocols, cryptography, application security, malware techniques, and protection technologies.
• Ability to evaluate risks and create mitigation strategies.
• Proven experience in drafting clear and structured technical reports with executive summaries, findings, and remediation plans tailored to various audiences.
