The opportunity
Manage and maintain various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, Wireless Controllers). Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations. Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Your key responsibilities
- Experience managing and troubleshooting Cisco switches/routers, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco wireless LAN, Cisco ISE/NAC environment.
- Experience with network monitoring and reporting tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of TCP, IP, Ethernet, Wireless LAN, IPSec VPN, SSL mesh and non-mesh WAN topologies, etc.
- Experience with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, VRF, SDWAN, and other networking protocols. Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K etc.
- Understanding of advanced technologies such as QoS, CoS, policy-based routing, 802.1x, WPA2, 802.11.
- Experience in networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, VLANs, peering, load balancing, etc.).
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshooting network, Wi-Fi issues
What we’re looking for
(a) Required skills / qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- CCNP / CCNA or other technology certifications in related technologies are a plus.
- Hands-on experience supporting network technologies, especially Juniper, Cisco (Nexus and Catalyst). Proficient knowledge in routing protocol (e.g. OSPF, BGP), switching, and Wi-Fi.
- Proven experience in any of the public Cloud would be an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Expert knowledge of Networking concepts on various networking products, technologies and platforms which should include but not limited to Enterprise grade campus & WAN networks, Data Center networks, virtualization and private and public cloud networks.
- Strong knowledge of Networking concepts on various networking and security technologies and products like Routers, switches, Enterprise Wireless LAN products.
- Deep understanding of Network & Wi-fi related products and solution in virtual environments. PUBLIC
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS Servers, and PKI
