About The Role
We are looking for a (Junior) Strategic Project Manager for the Akkodis Global Business Unit, a key part of The Adecco Group. Akkodis is a global Smart Industry powerhouse that delivers cross-industry expertise in technology to enable digital transformation and accelerate innovation. The position is based in Zurich, and a hybrid work model is being promoted.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting key strategic projects as part of the Akkodis global strategy. You will be contributing directly to the agenda of Akkodis’ global president and, thus, helping to shape the future development and success of Akkodis. You will work very closely with the Akkodis executive leadership team as well as local country leadership, giving you high visibility within the organization. What You’ll Be Doing
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the preparation of strategic and business reviews on executive level (Executive Committee, Board of Directors, etc.)
- Prepare business data and analysis for quarterly leadership meetings, operational reviews, etc.
- Prepare management presentations
- Coordinate special dedicated projects in and across various functional areas (Marketing, HR, IT, Sales, Finance, etc.), supporting the project manager and executive sponsor as required
- Provide financial insights in alignment with Finance department
- Support countries by providing required information or connecting people globally
- Support the organization of key events such as the annual global management summit and global townhalls
Primary Requirements For This Role Are To
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international and diverse environment
- Structured way of working
- Good stakeholder management capabilities
- Digital native with the ability to understand and use new technology/ software quickly
- Interest in Consulting, High Tech or Engineering sector
- Occasional travel may be required (up to 20%)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Business Administration or similar), prior professional experience and a rudimentary financial understanding are a benefit
- Business fluent in English (levels C1 or C2), additional language skills are considered a plus.
- Full proficiency in MS-Office-Suite, especially PowerPoint, and collaboration tools, e.g., Teams, SharePoint.
- Clear and precise communication skills, responding to subtle cues, and reacting with situational appropriateness.
- Meticulous organizational skills with fierce attention to detail.
- You are a self-directed, trustworthy and solution-oriented person and bring positive energy to the company.
