Blockchain Architect

We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Architect with over 15 years of professional experience to join a forward-thinking technology architecture team. This is a senior-level role suited for someone with a strong technical foundation in distributed systems and a strategic mindset to shape enterprise blockchain solutions that are secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant.

You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, advising stakeholders, and aligning blockchain initiatives with long-term business and technology goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on blockchain technologies, risks, and opportunities.
• Co-develop solution architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Define and uphold architectural standards, technical guidelines, and best practices.
• Evaluate and select vendors and partners to ensure robust and secure blockchain implementations.
• Ensure all initiatives are fully compliant with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, PSD2, AML, and KYC.
• Monitor and assess emerging trends like DeFi, CBDCs, and the intersection of AI and blockchain.
• Ensure blockchain strategies are aligned with business objectives and deliver long-term value.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Extensive expertise in Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) and consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, PBFT, QBFT).
• Strong cryptographic background, including hashing algorithms, digital signatures, and zero-knowledge proofs.
• Proven experience with smart contracts and token standards like ERC-20 and ERC-721.
• Hands-on knowledge of platforms such as Hyperledger Besu, Fabric, Canton, R3 Corda, and Quorum.
• In-depth understanding of blockchain security, from design through deployment.
• Familiarity with financial system architectures (e.g., RTGS, SWIFT, Trade Finance, digital asset custody) is an advantage.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms, containerized environments, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong experience in blockchain-to-legacy systems integration.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Blockchain Architect, Hyperledger Certified) are a plus.
