Cybersecurity - Project Manager

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid model – up to 2 days remote per week)

We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team in Lisbon!

Responsibilities:

• Manage cybersecurity projects from initial scoping through delivery and transition to operational teams
• Define project objectives, timelines, governance models, scope, risks, and dependencies
• Coordinate multiple cybersecurity initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic roadmap
• Ensure project execution follows best practices in planning, budgeting, quality assurance, and communication
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, IT departments, business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Track project progress and provide regular reporting to management and steering committees
• Prepare governance materials, executive presentations, and project documentation
• Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation
• Lead RFI/RFP processes for cybersecurity tools, platforms, and service providers
• Ensure compliance with internal cybersecurity policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support initiatives related to Zero Trust architecture, data protection, messaging security, application security, and regulatory compliance

Technical Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices
• Proven experience managing cybersecurity or information security projects in complex enterprise environments
• Experience with PMO methodologies, governance processes, KPI/KRI tracking, and portfolio management
• Solid understanding of security domains such as Zero Trust, data protection, messaging security, and application security
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
• Familiarity with cybersecurity governance and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party vendors
• Proficiency with project management and reporting tools

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within cybersecurity or IT security environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an international environment
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience preparing and presenting executive-level reporting and governance materials
• Autonomous, proactive, and delivery-oriented mindset
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
• Project Management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are valued
