Job Description:

We are hiring a Functional & Technical Cloud Architect (M/F) to join a major transformation project for one of our key clients in the insurance sector, based in Luxembourg.

As a Functional & Technical Architect, you will be part of the central architecture team and play a critical role in aligning IT systems with business strategy. You will support business and project teams by delivering sustainable, scalable, and cost-efficient architecture solutions across all layers: business, application, data, and infrastructure.

Project and Business Support

• Understand business needs and impacted processes
• Define and validate architecture in line with company standards and strategies
• Present architecture files to IT governance committees
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards
• Interact with stakeholders across business, IT, security, and operations
• Liaise with group-level stakeholders when required.

Sustainable IT Architecture

• Contribute to defining the target and transitional enterprise architecture
• Update and maintain functional, application, and technical mappings
• Define architecture principles and rules in line with corporate and group policies
• Perform technology watch and enforce architectural compliance
• Contribute to data architecture initiatives.

Technical Environment

• Microsoft: Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory
• Cloud & Virtualization: Cloud Migration, Dev (Sec)Ops, VMWare
• Network & Security: DMZ, zoning, WAF, reverse proxy, sandbox, firewall
• Methodologies: TOGAF, ArchiMate
• Tools: Visio, architecture mapping tools, Clarity.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in IT architecture (both functional and technical)
• Solid understanding of insurance or banking is a plus
• Strong expertise in Microsoft environments and cloud transformation
• Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels
