We are seeking an HR Specialist with a process background and organizational skills to support and enhance our recruitment processes. This role will be responsible for revising and streamlining our hiring procedures while managing end-to-end recruitment activities to ensure an efficient and structured hiring process. Duration is long term but will be first 12 months.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance the current recruitment process, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal policies.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for various roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs and provide guidance on best hiring practices.
  • Engage with external recruitment agencies and ensure smooth coordination with third-party providers.
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure the effective management of the contractor population.
  • Ensure vacancy lists are regularly updated in line with business requirements and that HQ approvals follow the formal process.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and internal policies in hiring practices.
  • Support HR projects related to talent acquisition and workforce planning.
  • Assist in administering compensation, benefits, and rewards programs and provide employees with information on policies and entitlements.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and coordinating hiring processes, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Ensure new hires are properly set up in HR systems and maintain employee records and personal data changes in HR ERP systems (e.g., SuccessFactors and/or Oracle).
  • Handle HR requests and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and managing HR tickets through available systems (e.g., AskHR if implemented).


Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch labor laws related to employment and recruitment.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
  • Experience working with external agencies and managing employment contracts is a plus.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Able to work 60% from the office and travel to Den Helder if needed
  • Hybrid working is possible 3/2, 3 days office and 2 days working from home.
