Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be based in Qatar or any GCC country (excluding Egypt), and will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines, and maintaining close communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for government and enterprise-level initiatives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, resource planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure timely execution and delivery of projects in alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost control.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, DevOps, and external vendors.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders including government clients, technical teams, and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with project governance, change management, and documentation standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, ideally in the public sector or government projects.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects in the GCC region.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments.
• Fluency in Arabic is required. English is a plus
• Must be based in Qatar or any GCC country (excluding Egypt).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field.
