Medior Software Engineer Odoo/Python

In the context of the energy transition and the liberalization of the energy market, Haulogy successfully contributes to achieving the transformation objectives of its clients in the energy and utilities sector by offering modular and scalable management software and relevant commercial and IT services, all within a long-term partnership approach.

As part of this effort, Haulogy is expanding its portfolio of software solutions for the Energy market and is looking for a: Medior Software Engineer Odoo/Python

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. 

Responsibilities

As a Odoo/Python Software Engineer:

• You will be a key member of our 12-person Odoo team, working within the broader 50-person team developing our ERP product suite
• You will carry out technical analysis, development, and testing of your software components, as well as drafting technical documents.
• You will provide solutions by offering ideas that will be debated in a collaborative team environment.
• You will develop your technological and business skills.
• You will work as part of a team on innovative projects within a listening and supportive environment where everyone's ideas will be discussed.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree / Engineer in computer science or equivalent;
• 2 -3 years or more of relevant experience is preferred;
• Required knowledge of Python and SQL;
• Knowledge of design and development methodologies (UML, Agile methods, UX...) and environments/tools (configuration management, deployments, code quality, testing);
• Good command of French and English;
• Highly autonomous, rigorous, and analytical.
• Knowledge of Odoo and its development environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of the energy sector is appreciated.
