Position: Expert Fullstack Developer (Java) with DevOps Experience

Location: Brussels (2–3 days onsite/week)

Language: Dutch (mandatory), English



We are currently looking for an Expert Fullstack Developer (Java) with DevOps experience to join a leading energy supplier based in Brussels.


Scope:

  • Develop and maintain Java microservices (Spring Boot)
  • Build REST APIs and integrate with frontend (Vue.js, Magnolia CMS)
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployments on Azure AKS
  • Support API management (Kong), Identity (Keycloak), and integrations (Kafka)
  • Work in agile team; coach peers where needed


Must-Have Skills:

  • Java 11/17, Spring (Boot, MVC) – 5+ years
  • REST, JAX-WS, XML, SOA – 3+ years
  • JavaScript/TypeScript – 3+ years
  • Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps – 2+ years
  • EU citizenship


Nice to Have:

  • Vue.js, Magnolia CMS, Webpack, Sass, Kafka Streams, Reactive programming
