Job Description:

High Level Job Responsibilities:

• Understand the business requirements and translate them into technical network solutions (capacity and functionalities) in an optimal and cost-effective way, according to company technical guidelines.
• Planning and Design: Produce network engineering solutions and low-level designs, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of any project, regardless of the domain (IT, Connectivity, Entertainment, etc.)
• Elaborate detailed migrations plans for complex solutions.
• Carry out network implementations and migrations plans. Configure devices according to the design plan and ensures proper connectivity between components.
• Testing and Validation: After implementation, they perform rigorous testing to validate network functionality, performance, and security.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configuration details, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Minimum 6+ years solid networking experience background.
• Experience in architecture, development, testing, requirements gathering and support of ISP companies and Enterprise environments.
• Must have proven experience in complex projects.
• Must have strong knowledge of Data Centers Designs with special focus on IP Networks, Security and Application Delivery Solutions.
• Must have strong knowledge of Data Centers Foundation Services, Systems, and back-end environments.
• Must have strong knowledge and experience of Software Defined Networking (SDN) – Cisco ACI Application Fabric (L3Outs, Tenants, EPGs, Profiles,...).
• Must have strong knowledge and relevant experience in design and implement VMware NXS-T solutions (NSX Manager, Distributed FWs, VXLAN, Edge Services Gateways).
• Must have strong knowledge and relevant experience in Cisco routing/switching technologies/ distributed logical routing/switching.
• Must have strong knowledge of Next Generation Firewalls (Checkpoint desired).
• Must have strong knowledge of Load Balancing Solutions (F5 desired).
• Solid knowledge on IP technologies and protocols (MPLS, ISIS, VXLAN).
• Good understanding of Cloud networking and familiar with certain cloud providers like AWS, GCP, etc.
• Good understanding of new technologies (always up to date).
• Good Experience with Unix Systems.
• Experience in creating scripts and building automation for daily activities and complex migrations, using REST APIs.
• Experience with writing Low Level Designs, Visio Diagrams.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Desirable professional experience in ISP/Cloud Providers/Vendors.
